Reserve your shore excursion with a 50% deposit. Pay the remaining balance at least 30 days before embarkation. Bookings made within 30 days of the tour require full payment when booked.

The deposit refund schedule below applies provided the booking was made at least 30 days before the final payment due date.

Changes to group size
Prices reflect the confirmed number of travelers. If a guest cancels, the price per person for remaining guests may increase because vehicle, driver, and guide costs are shared. Remaining travelers may accept the revised rate or cancel the excursion under the applicable cancellation policy.
Changes to your itinerary
Please request destination changes before embarkation. Changes after embarkation cannot be accommodated. When schedule flexibility allows a revision, additional transport, admission, guide, or driver costs may increase the price.
If your cruise cancels a port
Before the voyage begins
If the cruise line cancels a scheduled port stop before departure, we cancel the booking for that port and issue a full refund without a penalty.
After the voyage begins

Last-minute refunds are limited by commitments to local vehicle providers, including non-refundable deposits. Weather and cruise-line operational changes may occur at short notice. Our team stays in contact with local port authorities to respond as early as possible.
Help with an insurance claim
We can provide your booking confirmation to support a claim with your cruise line or travel insurer. If your cruise line informs you that your trip is canceled because of a pandemic, earthquake, or war, your booking receives a 100% refund.
Land tours
Multi-day vacation and land tours
For bookings made at least 60 days before travel, deposits are fully refundable when canceled up to 60 days before the trip begins.

If you prefer to change dates, your deposit can be retained toward a future trip for up to five years.
Single-day city tours
For Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Kyoto, Osaka, and similar city tours, cancellations up to 14 days before the tour receive a full refund. Cancellations a week before the tour receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within a week receive no refund.
If you must cancel your trip because of a pandemic or war, your booking receives a 100% refund.

Airport and cruise port transfers
- Airport transfers: cancel without a fee up to five days before arrival.
- Flight changes: reschedule your airport transfer without a fee when you inform us in advance.
- Cruise port transfers: cancel without a fee up to 15 days before embarkation.
Travel insurance
Consider protection for trip cancellation, interruption, delays, medical care, evacuation, and baggage. Reimbursement depends on the covered reasons and terms of your insurance policy.
