Suggested itinerary

A city day with room to enjoy it.

Use this route as a starting point. Stop order and time at each place are adjusted around your pickup, interests, opening hours, and the pace of your group.

  1. Fushimi Inari Taisha

Start with the shrine and a manageable section of its torii-lined paths. A summit hike is optional and needs considerably more time.

  2. Kiyomizu-dera & Higashiyama

Continue to the hillside temple, then explore the old streets of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka on foot.

  3. A Kyoto lunch break

Leave time for a relaxed meal and a look inside neighborhood shops rather than racing between temples.

  4. Gion

Finish with a respectful walk through public streets. Appreciate the architecture and atmosphere without entering restricted lanes or pursuing performers for photographs.

Pace & transport

Make the day work for you.

This eastern Kyoto route avoids trying to cross the entire city in one day. Hills, steps, and busy lanes make a realistic walking plan essential. We can reduce the number of stops and arrange closer vehicle access where possible.

Choose a different focus

Another way to see Kyoto.

Make Arashiyama, Tenryu-ji, and the bamboo grove the focus of a separate western Kyoto day. Kinkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji, or Nijo Castle can replace part of the main itinerary.

Tour details

Clear arrangements before you travel.

What is included in the quote?

Your written proposal confirms the touring duration, meeting point, return point, guide or driver service, and transport arrangement. Admission tickets, meals, local transport, ferries, parking, tolls, and optional activities are included only where explicitly listed. There is no fixed published price for this sample route.

Can we shorten the day or reduce walking?

Tell us your preferred walking distance, steps you want to avoid, and any wheelchair or stroller requirements. We can propose fewer stops, more rest time, or vehicle support. Access arrangements are confirmed for the chosen sights before booking.

Can we add a cultural experience?

Yes, subject to availability. An experience generally replaces a sightseeing stop or needs a longer day. Let us know what interests you so we can include booking requirements and costs in the proposal.
