🕤 09:15 – 10:15 🛕 Wong Tai Sin Temple (黃大仙祠) & Chi Lin Nunnery (志蓮淨苑)
Visit Wong Tai Sin Temple, Hong Kong’s most famous Taoist shrine, dedicated to the deity believed to heal the sick and grant wishes. Experience the vibrant incense-filled atmosphere, where visitors draw “kau cim” (fortune sticks) and have them interpreted on-site.
Continue to the nearby Chi Lin Nunnery, an oasis of peace built in Tang-dynasty architectural style — entirely crafted from interlocking wood without nails. Surrounded by lotus ponds and bonsai gardens, it offers a tranquil contrast to the city’s energy.
🕥 10:15 – 11:45 🍽️ Cantonese Dim Sum Lunch (廣式點心)
Savor a classic Hong Kong dim sum experience at a renowned local restaurant. Sample favorites such as:
Har Gow (蝦餃) — crystal shrimp dumplings
Siu Mai (燒賣) — pork & shrimp dumplings
Char Siu Bao (叉燒包) — barbecue pork buns
Cheung Fun (腸粉) — rice noodle rolls
Egg Tarts (蛋撻) — buttery custard pastries
Dim sum is more than a meal — it’s a cherished social tradition that captures Hong Kong’s culinary spirit.
🕛 11:45 – 12:15 ⛴️ Star Ferry Ride (天星小輪體驗)
Board the century-old Star Ferry for a short but iconic crossing of Victoria Harbour between Tsim Sha Tsui and Central. Feel the sea breeze and admire the skyline framed by the green peaks of Hong Kong Island and the towers of Kowloon.
🕧 12:15 – 13:30 🚠 Peak Tram to Victoria Peak (太平山纜車 + 山頂觀景台)
Ride the historic Peak Tram, Hong Kong’s century-old funicular railway, climbing steeply toward Victoria Peak. As you ascend, you’ll witness the famous “Peak Tram Paradox” — skyscrapers appearing to tilt due to the gradient.
At the summit, visit Sky Terrace 428, Hong Kong’s highest viewing platform, for a 360-degree panorama over the harbor, city, and distant islands. Your guide will point out landmarks and the best photo angles.
🕝 13:30 – 14:15 🚐 Return to Cruise Terminal
Descend by road through the scenic, tree-lined slopes of the Peak, passing heritage mansions and forested hills. Depending on time, enjoy a drive through Central and Wan Chai or brief souvenir shopping at Harbour City before arriving back at the terminal by 17:00.
