Island Vistas, Lava Caves & Coastal Walks
Sample Itinerary: Jeju Shore Excursion
Uncover Jeju’s volcanic wonders, sea cliffs, and tropical coast in one day.
09:00 – Pickup at Jeju Port
Meet your private driver/guide at the cruise terminal. As you leave the city, learn how Jeju’s volcanic origins and island traditions have shaped its unique culture.
09:30 – 10:30 – Manjanggul Lava Tube
Explore one of the longest lava tunnels in the world, formed by molten flows over 200,000 years ago. Walk through vast underground chambers with dramatic lava stalactites, “lava benches,” and stone pillars that showcase Jeju’s geological wonder.
11:00 – 12:00 – Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak, 성산일출봉)
Climb (or partially ascend) this UNESCO-listed volcanic tuff cone, rising from the sea with a wide crater at its summit. From the viewing platforms, take in spectacular panoramas of Jeju’s rugged coastline and neighboring islets.
12:15 – 13:15 – Seopjikoji Seaside Trail & Lunch
Take a leisurely walk along the windswept headland of Seopjikoji, famous for its cinematic cliffs and spring wildflowers. Afterward, enjoy lunch nearby — perhaps Jeju black pork barbecue, fresh seafood, or seasonal local dishes.
13:45 – 14:45 – Seongeup Folk Village (성읍민속마을)
Step back in time at this preserved village, where traditional thatched-roof houses and stone walls tell the story of Jeju’s rural heritage. Local residents share folk customs, shamanic practices, and the island’s unique dialect.
15:15 – 16:00 – Hamdeok Beach (Optional Coastal Stop)
Relax on one of Jeju’s most picturesque beaches, with fine white sand and turquoise waters. Depending on time and tide, enjoy a seaside stroll or a coffee break at a local café overlooking the shore.
16:15 – 17:00 – Return to Jeju Port
Drive back toward your cruise ship, with optional time for a quick stop at a local market to pick up Jeju specialties such as tangerines, honey, or cosmetics made with volcanic minerals.

Practical planning
Comfort and timing come first.
Timing & routing
Jeju’s attractions are widely distributed, so the route should remain on one side of the island whenever possible.
Walking & mobility
Volcanic peaks and waterfalls can involve many steps; scenic overlooks, tea gardens, and coastal stops offer easier options.
Before we confirm
We need the cruise line, ship, port date, scheduled arrival and departure, number of guests, and any mobility considerations.
